"TOURISM TIME" - EVENT
The Mongolian Tourism Association organizes a monthly event called "TOURISM TIME" for tourism entrepreneurs to provide the latest news, up-to-date knowledge, and networking of the tourism sector.
WORLD TOURISM DAY - TOURISM EVENING
Since 1980, the United Nations World Tourism Organization has celebrated World Tourism Day on September 27. To celebrate this day in Mongolia, MTA organizes a "Tourism Evening" event for the Mongolian tourism sector. Mongolia joined the UNWTO in 1990.
TOUR OPERATOR CERTIFICATION
Any party who proposes to function as a tour operator or travel agency will acquire an appropriate license from the Mongolian Tourism Association. The license certificate shall be issued by the Mongolian Tourism Association, and the license holder is obliged to make it visible to customers at his center of operations. This is one of the objectives to implement government policies as agreed by an official contract.
BLOOD DONATION CAMPAIGN
The Mongolian Tourism Association, in cooperation with the National Blood Transfusion Research Center, organizes the annual charity blood donation action every year under the slogan “#SAVING A LIFE” as a campaign among the tourism sector.
"TOURISM CUP" SPORTS EVENT
This is one of the big sporty events for the Mongolian tourism sector staff held in April and November each year. It encourages members to spend leisure time among fellow colleagues in the tourism sector and establish the presence of health and fairness in the sport field, which also enhances mutual understanding, friendships, and cooperation.
"TOURISM AND BUSINESS NEGOTIATION" - A B2B EVENT
The Mongolian Tourism Association, in cooperation with the "Training and Development Center of the Hospitality Industry" and the "Mongolian Gastronomy Tourism Association," hosts the "Tourism - Business Negotiation-2022" among the hospitality-tourism service providers and tour operators. This brand new event of the tourism sector is successfully organized for the first time.
